RYBELSUS is contraindicated in patients with a prior serious hypersensitivity reaction to semaglutide or to any of the excipients in RYBELSUS [see Adverse Reactions (6.2)]
Body Mass Index (BMI): Prescribed to adults with a BMI of 30 kg/m or greater (classified as obese) or a BMI of 27 kg/m or greater with at least one weight-related comorbidity, such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, or type 2 diabetes
Patients should: Never share their Ozempic pen with others, even if the needle has been changed, due to infection risks Inform healthcare providers about all medications, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements Store the medication properly to maintain its effectiveness Special attention is needed when taking Ozempic with other diabetes medications, as combining them may increase the risk of low blood sugar
