These pieces were produced by the finest blacksmiths from Milan and Innsbruck. The shoulder pieces may be combined with almost all plate armour and gambesons, and are particularly well suited to the fourteenth century. The armour features a bevelled bottom at the front, to deflect blows to the arm. The armour may be fastened to the upper arm by means of a leather
